Consent for Local Education Visits on Foot

During the course of your child’s time at St Andrew’s, trips on foot will take place to enrich their curriculum learning.

These trips include (but are not limited to) walking to Barnt Green Parish Church for special services or assemblies, walking around Barnt Green village for history or traffic surveys, to the Lickey Hills and to the Baptist playing fields.

Notes

All children will wear hi-vis jackets (provided by the school) on every trip and be supervised by adults to the correct child:adult ratio.

This form is not regarding trips further afield by coach or minibus. Permission will be requested on an individual trip basis via ParentPay for those trips.

This form is valid from the date of signing until your child has left the setting. Please note that you have the right to withdraw or change your consent at any time by giving the school written notice and completing a new consent form.

The county council accepts no responsibility for accidents or injury to pupils, or for loss or damage of personal effects, unless the cause is the negligence of the County Council or any member of its staff.

The school has a Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA) with the Department for Education which provides cover for school trips. Our certificate can be seen on the school website policy page.
